OUR MARTINI TWIST

How do you make a martini even more sophisticated? Infuse it with Saffron, darl. This radiant elixir has a surprisingly rich texture, and leaves a subtle hint of bitterness in its wake. Well, don’t we all.

Grab:
60ml Polarity BitterSweet Gin
5ml Tio Pepe Sherry
5ml homemade Saffron Infused Vermouth*

Now for the fun part:
Add it all to a mixing glass full of ice.
Stir until ice cold and pour into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lemon coin. Aim for -4°C.

*Add 0.5g of saffron to a full bottle of Dry Vermouth and leave to infuse in a cool dry place for 2 hours. Strain, add 50g of sugar, pinch of sea salt and mix until dissolved. Store in fridge for your future martini festivities.

Prefer the only slightly twisted classic Martini?
Add 60ml of Polarity BitterSweet gin, 10ml of Dry Vermouth and 3 drops of Orange Bitters to a mixing glass full of ice.
Stir until ice cold and pour into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lemon coin.
Always delicious, but ideal at -4°C.
